In 1963, Ernesto Z. Medina was hired as regular AGENT of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in the Philippines. That early he already saw the need for professional private detectives who could focus and handle personal background investigation, infidelity cases, insurance fraud, process serving and other quasi-delict crimes. NBI was patterned after FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) of the United States.

After mastering the art of investigation, security and safety, Ernesto Z. Medina resigned as NBI Agent in 1969 and organized a private detective agency. He is the incumbent President of the ASIADETECTIVES, INC. In the management staff is another former NBI Agent, Atty. Romeo Saavedra who is up to now still a practicing lawyer. Other members of the advisory staff are former Regional Trial Court Judge Manuel Calanog, retired Police General Alfredo Yson, retired army officer, Col. Arsenio V. Paredes and trial lawyer Atty. Bonifacio O. Tavera.

From an office in Araza Building in Makati City, ASIADETECTIVES, INC. moved and is now housed in its office building at #37 Apo Street, Mandaluyong City, Philippines. It has been issued a license to operate as Private Detective Agency in the Philippines, under License No. PDA-0003-2003.

The men and women working in ASIADETECTIVES, INC. have adequate knowledge and experience as private investigator. Only graduates of Bachelors in Criminology, Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science in Accounting are being hired and trained as agents by the agency.
